It is more complex than that but here is the story :
CHE blocked by BIO on both side
ATK is about the same but his DEF higher which makes the difference here

Remember there is a small luck factor implicated, when you are close you could retry your luck... (But 57 HP on 300 is a bit too much perhaps better waiting)

i got my gold pass yesterday at level 13
so i dont think the level matters too much
i made sure i had all my hit points
not sure if albert had all his at the time
tried to hit him b4 with my numbers all better than his and lost anyways
so this time i loaded up on every boosts i could get my hands on
and got my gold
so load up and give it another try
