If you use the poker boosts, you should be able to beat him.

The boosts alter your stats for 1 game or a 24 hour period, you can use more than 1 at a time and they can make a massive difference to you stats.

Working in the club for 20hrs give you a special boost and for every 50 games you play, you get a special boost. these boost are not available in the shop and come in very handy when you need to boost your bluff stats.

Is the only way to get to level 2 by challenging the bots on poker street ? Am I right that I need 20 wins but can only have 3 games hour ?

you don't need 20 wins, You need 20 EXP points, check there how to grab experience points : http://www.onlinepoker66.com/rpg/gametutorial.html#EXP

(and it's 3 games per 20 min period)

Well seems I beat him 2 levels before of when I should (lvl5)

dont forget when you buy equiptment you select upgrage and refresh. i just found this out lololol

If you have trained your character competences and buy at least one object (and equip it) you should hit level 2 very soon, just keep challenging level 1 and level 2 game characters
There should be no dead end in the game, just need time sometimes.
