I must admit , I agree with Collingwood. I do accept Danzi's point that there is a separate section but unfortunately if like me you use the "new posts" option it is not possible to filter these out. If this was restricted to a separate section of the forum as Collingwood suggested, or even better there were two forums. A "poker forum" and a "non poker forum" we would have an Ideal world. However we have to face reality that time and money and system resources are involved so we will probably have to accept that the forum is no longer what it used to be.

Well said and ditto. The mods try to move as much stuff to the right sections as they can but it is also up to the members to check to make sure that they post in the correct sections. LOL, for goodness sakes there is a whole outlaw forum it is not difficult.

There is absolutely no need for such a rude reply Scothius. By all means if you disagree with what has been said you are entitled to your opinion but I think that both you and loveschips have completely missed my point. Yes there is a separate forum for outlaws, and yes we don't have to read these items BUT ( Collingwood please correct me if I'm wrong here) my understanding of the initial post was born out of frustration of having to wade through yet more "threads of little or no interest" For what it's worth I disagree with the majority of posts on this thread and agree with Collingwood but it's no big deal I can work around it and filter the posts that I want to read. Please can we debate these topics without launching into personal attacks. Thank You.

IT Wasn't a direction towards your post JOCKNEY...and I can't see where anyone is 'wading' through theses post's and threads...one or two here and there...I wasn't being rude, i also was speaking out of frustration, as this thread was also needless and joins the queue for threads we have to "wade" through....This is not a personal attack n anyone, just my opinion.

Perhaps there was something lost in translation ? In the UK "God you people talk crap" and "obviously you people have NO life..... " would be considered Rude !! : ![]() But I'm glad that you did not intend any malice ![]() |

Yes well maybe i was caught at a bad moment SORRY....all i meant was don't you (being generic) have anything better to do other than complain about a silly post...if that were the case i would post a new thread hourly about all the useless posts that I don't want to look at...
