Outlaws tournaments : Turbo or not?

Hi,

just a fast poll to ask your point about the actual structure of our Outlaws tournaments.
Planning to modify the timing from 10 min per blind level to 6 mins per blind level.

i'v voted for 6 min but im happy as thay are now but if thay do get more popula as i hope thay will and we start to get over 30 or 40 pepol then i think haveing them at 6 min will help

yes, turbo for me. ive made it to the end 3 times, 1st 1 was 2 and 3/4 hours, 2nd was 2 and 1/2 hours, todays was quicker but only 9 entrants... ive posted you a pm lava btw.

Voted to stay as they are for now but agree with Roo, if we get more players I think I would change my vote. Is it possible to change the time depending on the amount of people registered?

i agree with roo , will need to be changed when we have more people
these are the best tournaments on the site now
players are free to up their bets, it's no limit hold em.
i like getting my moneys worth i'm happy to place 4 th (out of the prizes) and have played a great game of poker

No keep 10 minutes. With 6 minutes i must risk much and this is structure for op66 big tourneys and at end when bb comes you can t play normal you must risk with all ins. That s why i think 66 dollar freeroll and outlaw tourneys are more real and btw more ppl will join it and i would not like bingo as we have on 1.25 dollar real money tourneys you must play bingo (with 1000 starting chips and think blinds go up every 6mins if i remember right) or time and blinds will eat you.

I agree the slowest structure will be the one minimizing luck, perhaps will faster the setup only in 2 cases :
1) if we'll have more than 14-15 average players (to cut down the needed time to 2h and a half max)
2) if we'll have too often less than 5 players (shorter tournament should trigger more players)

Worth keeping the actual setup a few more days if nobody complain

btw, i sugested faster and now vote but i think that from tour to tour we ar faster and not so tight like we ar on begining.

I voted for 10 mins. The tourney set up as it is suits my play, slow and tight

I like joyas suggestion for tourney toplist even if its based on averages.

2) i dought this will help and might even put some of the 1s now playing off as it might just tern in to a luck game when only 4 or 5 players in (with high blinds)
and that would be ashame as the standed of play there right now is the best we curently have

I agree with Danzi totally this is about poker not speed and money.. All People have a choice of game and you'll see certain people in certain places. you not offering buy in to there games. and i choose to leave them alone most of the time.. but do try them.. Yes maybe offer a one of buy in offer to all players to get them interested as it is the best table. then its up to thereselfs if they want to come back to the best table you have ever designed.. O back to the point of this thread.. No keep the blind structure at 10min.. there only a few a day.. There ya go.. got the answer fa ya's... put more Outlaw Tourneys on throughout the day...

one turbo and one regular perhaps.
see which one attract more players.

betty and i were on the same table i got beat out with 8's against 7's and he caught his seven.
