I stayed at the Madeira which was next door to the "party hotel" I reccon it would get possibly half a star rating. It was furnished with MFI style furniture , the bed had a knitted beadspread that would have been more at home in an old peoples home and I had to remove the bulb from the bedside light to turn it off. The shower was very basic and not very fast. Tv had just the basic channels.The breakfast was very basic ( I hate tinned tomatoes )however the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

was a steal booking late £55 a night, but was about 4 miles or so away from the party venue..

no complaints about the hotel whatsoever (thax smudge )

i stopped at the Westmede, the hotel was about 10 mins away in taxi, hotel was beautiful, staff were very helpful, rooms were very nice,bathroom was modern with bath and shower, and the bed was oh so comfy, 9 out of 10. twin room £70 b&b
