Hands11 hasnt been online for 3 weeks,... kez phoned the hotel and the booking had not been confirmed, no deposit paid...kev has been trying to phone him for a few days and he hasnt answered... now that place have said they have taken bookings and cant have a party there...

Does the Birmingham Airport rail station make more sense than New Street now?

Westmead hotel > Bham new street stn = 8.5 miles
Westmead hotel > birmingham international (birmingham airport) = 16.5 miles

Close railway stations: Longbridge, Barnt Green, Northfield, Kings Norton. (3-4.5miles) Longbridge is closest one.

All of those are easy to get a connecting train from new street station, if ur ticket is to and from birmingham stations (not a named station) u can get there on same ticket.

Trains to longbridge from new street are every 10 minutes and take 20 minutes.

This hotel is not a million miles from the previous one, but it is quite a bit further out of city centre.

Hi if anyone one would like to buy 2 tickets from Glasgow Central to Birmingham New Street for the 18th - 20th Sept please p.m me..
Am on a real low at the moment, was really looking forward to meeting everyone, economy as it is, was chuffed to pay as i thought....it all up front ...
You feel some sense of a bond with people especially after a few years, however i am disapointed at the present situation as my friend and i have spent £126.00 on tickets and £94.00 on the alleged booked room/buffet etc... All for nothing...

If Hands is ill then i hope he is well soon, and God Bless,
however a phone call or e-mail via himself or a friend may have resolved alot of issues that are cropping up.

Im not sure exactly where we are at.Im having a blonde moment.
Are we having a party/disco on just saturday night?or is not worth the expence for the limited numbers attending?
Is there just a saturday night buffet?or is not worth the expence for the limited numbers attending?
When i phone to book a room for Clare and me,am i paying for the room,buffet,function room and dj then?
Im assuming that i pay the full rate for which ever room we need and Kez gets her deposits back.
I assume we will be able to have a little poker game on the friday if there is no money involved and if anybody else is interested.
