ok i voted 27th and Glasgow but im fine with Edinburgh as well but thats more likely to be the best weekend for me money wise

ok peeps, gonna stick my neck out here and say that the date and location will be 27th - 29th November in Glasgow.....I cant see there being any more votes that will alter this outcome. So after the weekend i will set about finding a suitable hotel for people to stay in. I should be able to confirm the hotel either Tues or Wed next week.

This may be a stupid question but is it a neccessity for the hotel to have a bar?? (as i have one hotel in mind that is right in the town centre, is pretty cheap, but has no bar , although there is at least 20 pubs within 5 mins walking distance from it)

Also some people have asked if it is just gonna be a drinking weekend or if we are gonna play some poker, i am easy but what do you all think???

the reason i asked is that out of the hotels i have looked at so far the one without a bar is £50 cheaper per night!!!! It doesnt bother me cos i am only 12 miles away from glasgow so i can go home to bed

I will continue looking though and will visit all hotels to try and get a good deal
