ok......I know that most of the world thinks we americans are slackers......but if there is one thing we know how to do it is "over-do" it........so, what are we waiting for??? our economy is in the pits, we are do for another year of natural disasters, and yankee stadium is no more........LETS EFFIN PARTY FOLKS!!!!!!!!! I do not care where it is......I live in florida and would be happy to NOT have it here...........but if florida was to be chosen, I would be happy to be of assistance in any department needed......there are 50 us states and however many provinces in canada.......we even have south and central america.........

please feel free to leave your suggestions for WHEN and WHERE you all prefer it to be............If someboby does not take control of this party......I WILL.........and you all will be forced to admit that I, GODBLESSIRAQ, threw one heck of an AMERICAN OP66 PARTY.........peace...........gbi

yes its tough here cause........yes im a slacker lol. but we r spread out pretty far. but with some good ideas and a little leadership (which i lack) and alot of notice there's a chance of gettin somethin together centrally like midwest or vegas which is cheap

Okay, got an idea here.....

Everyone who wants to and most likely will go, post here where you are at and what month is best for you.

I also live in Florida and have no desires to have it here. My brother is getting married April 4th in Jacksonville, an I'm going to Philly in June. Other than those dates, all are good for me.

Also, I'm very good at planning parties, so if you are serious, I can make it happen!

midwest would be ideal........summertime........ahhhhhhh........we are all poker players.......so a town we can gamble in would be ideal........other than reno, vegas, biloxi, or new orleans, I do not know where else you can gamble in the midwest......but then again, with a couple of weeks notice, airline tickets are no more than $200 round trip to just about anywhere in the usa from anywhere in the usa....help please.......

I'm down to go anywhere in the US. Like Earp said we are spread out pretty far apart, so it might take a little bit more to organize. If I can be of any help I would gladly do it. Any time from June to September is good for me because that's when I'm not in school.

keep thread goin and think it out. if its anywhere in the southwest u.s. ive got permission from management (mrs earp) to at least host 2 or 3 people we have an extra room. and can drive guest to location of tourny.

and if its low turnout (10 people or less) we can find acommadations and have the tourny in kitchen

im with crinkle we need time to save up if we have to travel and im sure everyone else would like to have time to save up if they have to too. if we take our time and put our heads together we can make it happen. my doors r open to a few people and we can help transport to but we r limited if its out of the southwest u.s.

sounds good but i'm with Earp, let's not make this a quick one but take some time setting it up and maybe we can get players from all over to come given time to save up for it. Times are tough right now and a lot of us have already taken our holidays or have make plans this year. Vegas is not on top of my list but if it's Arizona we get that spare bedroom at Earps. Golfing great and weather too what Earp late fall early spring. We are in for mid usa.

good call . i think late fall would be perfect wheather here as long as monsoon doesnt mess it up.

I don't care where, but need some advanced notice to get there (As I am sure everyone does). I am in Montana right now, so the more notice, the better. I will also help in any way I can. So far it looks like Florida would be prime, just looking at where everyone is so far. My vote is for late fall, November sounds good, and closer to midwest.

Late fall is best for me as well since December - May is tourist season, so I can't take off then. Is that enough time for everyone?

Arizona also sounds like a good idea to me.

The fall is better for Sweeney and I. We have different things to do until July 4. However, I think it should be right in the middle of the states. Maybe in Dallas. On mapquest it is about the same distance for everyone. West and East coast members. That would be fair for all. No matter where we are very interested in going. Very valid point, but to be even fairer to the north eastern people, we would be looking at Kansas or Missouri to be more centrally located.

I think we need to get an idea of who all is coming and from where before decide on an exact locale. All is good for me. Plane trip costs me the same wherever I go.

please do remember i am planning the aussie one for november 14....i know some from the states have expressed an interest in coming to australia for it.....i dont mind if you have your get together in november but please....not on the same weekend as the aussie one
