North American Party...we can start making reservations..

Since I have received very little feedback, I spoke to many of my friends that have been there, I have decided on Circus Circus Hotel as the place for the party. It is a decent hotel, with an indoor theme park, and very good rates.

If anyone has issues with this, please let me know now. I will be calling them today to verify that they will have enough rooms for us. It is off season for Vegas then, so I'm guessing that won't be a problem.

It was going to be a coin flip for me between Circus Circus and The Stratosphere as those were the 2 cheapest hotels in Vegas I found. I was leaning towards The Stratosphere though seeing how I'm not too fond of clowns.

I was also thinking the Stratosphere, but it was the theme park that got me. Not into clowns either.

ok just so i got this straight weekend of the 24th in october at the circus circus in vegas? me and mrs cant wait. only bad thing is we r drivin pphhhhh that means we have to take her car

Called Circus Circus and the Stratosphere, just waiting on e-mails back from managers. But Circus Circus is looking better at the moment....except for the clowns

One thing I need to know...

I'll be arriving on Thursday 10/22 and staying until Monday 10/26. How long are most people planning on staying? If you could give me an idea of your arrival and check out dates, I would greatly appreciate it, and it would be a very big help.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm estimating that will be about the average stay for everyone. Some more, some less.

I still can't say how long I will be there because I still don't know my schedule for next semester, but I'm thinking on being there from Friday to Sunday.

P.S. I heard the bad thing about Circus Circus, apart from the clowns, are the kids running around the hotel and Tahiti Village people.

You'll need to fly into McCarran International Airport. As for transportation this is what the Circus Circus site had to say about it:

Q: Do you provide transportation to and from the airport?
A: No, however shuttles, taxicabs and limousines are available at both the airport and at the hotel.

Okay, I got the info back from both hotels. Basically it is cheaper if we book our rooms ourselves. They want a 25% deposit upon reserving the rooms, and then the rest must be paid upon arrival. Seeing as I don't know how many people are for sure going, trying to reserve them all now would be silly. Plus, the rates they gave per room, and booking the flight individually ends up higher by about $100.00 than if I were to book it as a package.

I don't have an issue with children since I act like one after a few vodkas anyway, but if anyone else does, we can change it to the Stratosphere....but I am extremely afraid of heights....worse than the clown issue.
