Uk op66 summerparty(POLL RESTARTED)

Hi all you party animals. I had a walle of a time an it was a pleasure an honour to meet u all.

Hearing an seen all the coment's made me nearly cry.

Most importend thing is all those who missed out so i came to the decision to organise a op66 summerparty.

As this is a lot of work i have to put it in stage 1 to ????.

I have in mind to holed it at a caravan site in the summer so all can come and bring the kids too.This will be after the school holidays so no1 misses out.

There will be a small cost per person witch i don't know jet , but please be asured that i try to keep it as low as possible.As well it comes down to how many are coming.

The plan is to find out who would like to come so that i can find a suitable site. However there will be a charge up frond to make sure ppl will come an no1 will be out of pocked.

So at stage no.1 is i would like all those who would like to come just to say I'M IN or I'M COMING

Please do not spam this or put any other coment on. I have to go through this an it takes up time thx.

I hope you all will come an we have a brilliant time.

Any members who are from abroad an would like to come please be asured i will look into any travel options for you to get to the party.

As for the moment i will wait to see how many ppl would like to come before i go any further.

Please give me a week or so then i will come up with a date, as things stand at the moment it is well to early to give you any more info

SO YOU ALL GOT PLENTY OF TIME TO SORT THINGS OUT TO MAKE IT

I have to look at differend sites an see witch one is best for the party, however as far i can see it at the moment there has to be at least

50 comfirmed an payed registations to make it work . Otherwise the cost will be to high per person.

With any luck we will have a sponcer or 2 to keep ower personal cost down and as well a free or standart charge campsite

Due to raised conserns an a few complains i came to the decision that it will be the best that we have NO KIDS at the

party as this a aduld site anyway , sorry for those who planed to come with there children.

As well i would everybody to aceppt my apology for not expressing myself proppery.

The site/place i.m looking for is not a caravansite it's more a site where we can stay in a tent/caravan as well as puting a beertent up and

can do wat we wont without disturbing anyone, but it only comes it if enough ppl coming an want to stay there.

I still looking for one as well as pups/hotels where we can holed ower party.

i so want to say yes, but it will prob depend on the dates more so at this time of year. Please let us know roughly when you was thinking for and i may be able to change annual leave etc if necessary. xx

well i would certainly attend, and can i recommend whitley bay or tynemouth. it has an excellent family caravan park, easy reach of 5 excellent beaches, hotels, bnb's, bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafe's, ice cream parlours. a fantastic place to be for a long weekend. it also has a first rate transport network, even those travelling by train and coach to the city centre are a 5 min walk and twenty minutes on a metro to the coast. if this gets chosen as a possible destination i'll post more info.

hmmm a caravan site?? can u explain this? i actually voted no! sorry to be a stick in the mud but i wouldnt want my kids asking me for money every 5 minutes! and i would feel terrible if i left them behind when everyone else's was there! but i have enuf memories from this one to last me a lifetime so...

I cant say yes or no jus yet, will have to let you know nearer the time but i agree wiv sal, i'd say its alot cheaper to sent a hotel room than a caravan
I'd love a summer meet up tho, my birthday is july 19th, keep that in mind if it gets organised lol
But anyway like i said, i cant give a definate answer jus yet

YES.... totally agree,and great for the summer, used that park near the light house,when i came up from darlington for a week with my kids when they were young, great area for a venue...

Im happy no kids..............mine are grown up now anyway.....but wouldnt mind them.........my grandson would love it...and im happy to look after kids the odd night lol...
And no tent in winter, thinking more summer here....

HMMMMMM wont commit one way or the other yet, but not sure the atmosphere will be the same with family/kids around.
