About avatars upload : Read here!

avatar requests

please all be sensible and note the 1 change per month rule on avatars

we would also like the chance to play some poker, but there is few individuals that are making multiple requests/changes

and making very hard and unnecassry work for us

still carnt load mine lol......after clicking change av.....following comes up:-


click on change avatars
green page starts to load
then a debugging page appears on top of load page
asks at bottom of page do you want to debug y/n
press no keeps coming back
press yes goes to page step into remote procedure call the following program debugged
press ok
microsoft debugger access denied
try to close and finally a end program error comes up and i have to log in again..........

i know me and yeoman have asked this on another thread....but still...no nearer to solving......thx i know ppl r buzy....but any help wud be appreciaed thx xx

umm.... 3 days now and still haven't received email confirmation of my avatar... is this the standard delay or have i done something wrong in the upload process ( it seemed like it all went though ok )?

not a huge deal cuz i aint playing until the flash version comes, but wanted to be 'ready' when it does. Please let me know if i need to re-submit.

Email confirmation is off since our mod team validates the avatars, we will add an automatic email asap

you will have to try to change your default browser for opening urls (firefox if ie and vice versa).
Or simply try from another computer just one time to upload your avatar.

Can people please take note of the fact you are only allowed to change your avatar ONCE a month, not once a day, you are taking moderators time that could be spent on more important issues.

I can't get my avatar to load at all, much less change it multiple times. Anybody have any suggestions I would appreciate it. I never get a upload page.

i really dont like to be the 'prude' of the bunch,, but Im wondering about the criteria for appropriateness for avatars?
came across on tonight that, honestly, shocked me that it was allowed.

Can people please remember that avatars uploaded have to be varified by the mods befor you see them on the tables, it is not an automatic process, if you upload an avatar and 20 mins later you still can't see it, please do not upload the same avatar multipul times because that creates more work.

Please just be patient and wait till it gets done, there is not always someone around to do it.

Well i didn't now u can have 1 avatar per month. I've been changing mine everyday. dum dum yes lol. Now i have no avatar, so how can get my avatar back?

I have re-activated your most recent avatar, please pick the one you want most and go ahead and upload it, but please pick the one you really want for a while.

Click on User CP near the top of this page, that will open your profile. ON the let hand apron you will see some categories.

Under Your Profile

Edit Profile Picture - Adds a picture to your home page on the upper left.

Under Settings and Options

Edit Avatar - adds an avatar to your profile that shows in your posts in the forum

Edit Signature is how you add a picture to the bottom of your posts.

You can either input the URL to a picture in an album on your home page or upload the pictures directly.

ok.. its been a week now and this avatar is still in place. I've notified mods via pm.
Yes, i guess i AM complaining because I realllly don't think it is appropriate at ALL ( especially given the 'under 18' thing ).
But, .. I guess, really, tho, my initial question still stands: if this particular one is allowed ( the assumption, as it is still in place after being reported ), then what ARE the criteria for acceptability?

( cuz if they're THAT loose, i think i may be changin MINE next month )
