About highest play money ring games

nothing to say this time eh? i guess i hit the nail on the head..

a few questions tho...

1. where's the challenge?
2. if the highest tables the network had before we joined were 250/500, WHY did u add a 15/30k table to the list? just to let us (who like to play on the high rollers table) feel happier to think we could soon get to play again to just say NO

is it just me or does OP feel a little bit less like 'home' these days

I'm working on flash version issues... and finished with Quagan the LP converter (version for manual work from mod team), please let me a min to reply

15k/30k table has been setup by table manager who didn't knew the table could be bugged, now deletes must be done by tech team only and they were keeping those opened for testing purpose. They should be off now, I don't know why they didn't deleted those yet.
And no there is no trick behind, I would even say it would be a very stupid move to create those tables if we were yet knowing they couldn't work.

where's the challenge? => refer to the thread including a poll about LP convertion, seems everyone would prefer to stay at 5 millions, I agree it will makes very hard to grow on toplist through ring games then, still possible but longer. I hope it could be a plus to boost high limit SNG and I'm sorry if a few unhappy players will simply stop playing but I can't do anything more for now, really spent hours discussing those ring games so far.

on a 2500/5000k table it would take like 10 years to make enough chips to even get close to the top.... WHATS THE POINT!

yes I said so thinking it was going to be fixed and it isn't, my bad...


No it won't take 10 years, certainly 4-5 times more than before but still possible. If you mix your game with 2-3 daily SNG I'm sure it will still be perfectly playable.
Now it's up to you, sorry to see you go if that's what you are saying but I don't see the point discussing all of that for hours as I'm sorry but can't do anything more for those specific high limit ring games.

And about the post where I said it will be fixed I was copying what table manager said... He thought it was about table setup and tried his trick to fix the issue, we weren't knowing at this point it was a deeper issue. I feel like you really think I've volontary lied to everyone saying "it will be fixed today"... But what would be the point?

I'm not forcing anyone to play SNG, it's just where we are now. I hope no one will think we have voluntary crashed high limit ring games in order to boost sng...

I feel its going to push a lot of ppl from the play ring tables, a lot of ppl come here to learn how to play with the free side of it, and like to play the ring tables and not the sng's. I have personally give up on playing the free money side because its not like it used to be, just cant get a game at all.

and Lava your going on about table mangers, i thought this was your site, and you have got ppl dictating to you, what u can and cant have.

anyway just seems such a shame that a free poker site cant have decent buy in tables to play on, ppl work through the ranks to get to play higher stake limits, sit with millions in the bank now, all for what NOTHING. some ppl must feel pretty lost now.

And i do feel ppl are getting pushed more to play sng's with higher buy in limits. My opinion was when ppl were shouting to close the rings to push the sng's u realised this was not going to be everyones cup of T, so another avenue was to put silly low buy in tables so ppl would move away from them, cause they are full of bingo also and have no option but to play high sngs to achieve chips, there again we are going to get told, this is not the case, but it is....
I think if i didnt move over to the real side, i wouldnt be here no more........

I see... It wasn't planned but if you really think it's a trick to focus players on SNG I can't change your mind I bet.
And about running the site : It's not a secret we are using a poker script offered by a poker network which is the only way to have a stable and complete poker script. We have avatars, buddy list, stable system, flash and no download versions and industry standard features around but we must find load of workarounds to continue to build & grow the site in our custom and original way.

its not the new features we have a problem with... it the small buyin tables... we have earned the right to choose to play on high roller tables... but its not possible cos of a network issue regarding maximum bankroll... and as for the challenge on the leaderboard... i'm afraid to say i think it's all but dead...

Lava u know me by now, i will tell it the way it is, im not trying to cause an argument or fall out with anyone, especially with you BOSS We know you doing a good job on getting the site up and running, and i know in life you cant please everyone, just feel a bit let down as does lynne and some others, feel a bit lost now.... but what can we do........
