Default Am I mad?

I'm sure I'll get an ear bashing for this, no worries though. The subject has also been mentioned elsewhere on the forum.

I played Wombats today and went out 15th which is fine. Again I'll just clarify, this is not sour grapes or anything like that, it's another post about 'odd cards'.

The first hour consisted of 50 hands. Out of those hands I counted 5 trips and, 9.....yes 'NINE'.....full house hands!

Normal? In one game? You decide.

By the way mad = insane, not angry.

in response to your question 'is stevo mad?', the answer is: absolutely, definitely yes...easiest question in the world

but on the subject of strange cards cards being dealt, never go all in with Q's over 8's before the river...quad 8's will win EVERY time...i found out the hard way.....

Well done Arrezo, nice.

Thanks for the vote of confidence by all in my sanity, or lack there of, LOL

Thank you Shrooms, I am not talking about bingo. But hey, seeing as there is so much of it now why not have prizes......a sewing kit......a set of hair rollers.......a pocket diary...........a camping stove...........a pack of cards

So judging by the responses it would seem that as far as the cards go, I might not be mad after all.

no stevo youare not mad (about the cards at least).tried outlaws freeroll 2 days in a row. 1st hand i'm out with set Aces to a river flush...2nd day i figured i got this 1 for sure,,,,1st hand

i'm all in preflop with KK pocket against A 3 offsuit..
the flop comes 222 (woohoo full house on the flop)..
the turn comes 2 (grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr again)
river brings K

i lose to a nothing hand again.... and this is typical to evry hand i've played on the new script....might as well be playin an empty penny slot...
what happened in the transfer...

There are several strange things I have noticed. I have seen way too many pocket Kings dealt in the same round as pocket Aces. The odds of getting any specific pocket pair are 1 in 220.

220 x 220 / 10 (10 player table) = 4840 rounds to see pocket As and pocket Ks in the same round.

The odds of getting any pocket pair are 1 in 16. The odds of any pocket pair advancing to a full house are 1 in 136. There are other ways to get a full house but this gives you an idea of what you should be seeing.

16 x 136 / 10 = 217 so you should see a full house from a pocket pair every 217 rounds on a 10 player table.

What are the odds of a full house getting beat out buy quads? As Sally and others have mentioned, I get that a lot. Scared to play hard on anything now!

If you are holding 22 and your opponent is holding 36 the flop comes 233

You win with a full house so far.
There is 1 in 23 chances your opponent will hit a 3 on the turn or river.
If no hit on the turn then there is a 1 in 48 chance of a hit on the river.

There is a 1 in 8 chance your opponent will hit a 6 on the turn or river which would give them a higher full house.

looks like you did your homework m8...seems like we are creating new bizzare odds with every hand... i tried this little experiment for 2 days,,,,, all in with any 2 7, or 3 8 offsuits....guess what .. up a mil on just those hands lol..now what are those odds......astounding i bet..

With the kind of bingo I have seen on the ring tables I believe you could do that.

The thing about odds are, I don't pay any attention to them. I just play by feel. I only play for enjoyment. If I was trying to make money or chips I might pay more attention to the odds. But then I wouldn't be having as much fun.

You will surely see more full houses etc in a game of free chips. The turn and the river cards are seen much more frequently as players are much more prepared to chase a hand than they would be in cash poker.

Stevo - yes you are mad and what the hell are you doing playing with Wombats - is it legal, is it moral even. I dont know but it doesny half sound scary

I agree with stevo, the hands coming out are horrific. Getting beat by quads or a higher full house is an everyday occurrance. I play for fun too but this can sure take the fun out and chippies just keep going down.good thing i'm playing free or i'd be finding a new casino. and they want me to play the real side. I don't think so.
