How does that many any difference?? I would have thought downloading software would have been preferable.. excuse my ignorance.

Downloading the software offers 10% more features like the avatar upload system but otherwise flash version is the same
(and flash version users can upload their avatar from a downloaded version and have one, it's not off it's just the upload tool)

not a stupid question at all... and Lava has answered it fairly for you.

In addition, tho, there are people who for one reason or another, simply don't have the capability to use a download version. ie:
-students using school computers
-anyone using a shared computer

the Flash version allows a player to play from ANY computer, whether they be abroad or at home

Such delay was really unexpected and I feel sad we can't do anything else to faster the process.
Flash no download version is the central point of our new design, it is blocking many things here in addition of dividing the community in 2 parts

As I said on toplist thread we will setup a "Flash script invaders" special tournament with 5 times the tourney points as prize for all players who can't play for now... But that won't help the ones who can't play sure.

It's getting pretty late in the week, boss....any hopeful news yet?

Flash client is now available and OnlinePoker66 has the full priority on installation. That's the last fresh update I have today.
I have asked if that would mean an installation through the next hours or not and they have to check again with IT team for such question...
Contacting them each 2 hours today to ensure a better feedback here on forum.

o.k ,,,flash ,,,,for those who don'ty know is another ,way to play from places you cannot download..i.e. liberarys,,,not to mention, the ...yah know what ,,we who know ..know it means about half the players here,,,any flash updates???

New update : Testing is going right way, some good chances to have it live today otherwise on monday max.

Another update : Have the luck to try the beta and I'm sure a few will chose flash version even if having the software too, transparency & other details like chat box make it better on some points (outside the few missing features), good to have 2 choices
Could be ready in less than 2 hours from now. Finger crossed they won't find an unexpected bug now...

if we choose flash over download can we simply uninstall download version and nothing will be lost

If you're talking about your avatar yes it won't be lost. If I were you I would keep software installed anyway as it could be a good way to bypass potential server issues (if you have software on your end you just have to connect to game server, if you haven't you have to pass through website then hit game server : Our goal is to minimize the issues but that's the same story for all sites on Internet... )
