Thumbs up Guaranteed amounts on SNG!

Hi,

good news for SNG lovers : We are going to add a guaranteed amount to all play money sit&go.
From 300% bonus on some newbies or even more on learning tables to 30% bonus on The Mammoth (20% on Baz-Ultra fast).
Tried to add more cash to the ones taking more time

I'll post again when it will be setup, I hope today yet

'Lava
PS : Please notice only 6 and 10 seaters are guaranteed, nothing added to HU.

Yep sounds like a great idea. Have you had any thoughts on maybe 1st place on a sit n go having a bonus prize, for example 1 entry to a freeroll?. Just a thought, but this is good news, hope it helps fill them.

What could we change to boost Sit&Go?

No multi-table SNG can be setup with actual script neither.

We could grab SNG results from script and then add extra prizes that way when we'll have the needed API stuff to add/remove play money too... Could be a workaround for adding a Guaranteed amount (tricky but could work).
Same apply for SNG stats or specifics toplists, could be a future coding (complex and server intensive but perhaps possible)
In your first post u state it's not possible... in your second u state it's tricky but might be possible...

i'm sure this is great for those who love sng's (and newbies)... and good luck to them... but this still isn't gonna let anyone make a challenge on the toplist.. without a high rollers table (and this stupid max bankroll limit) its a waste of time being there... even with the 20 & 30% bonus on the higher buyin sng's no-one is ever gonna make enough chips to have a decent stab at the top spot...

if its technically possible to add a guaranteed prize to the sng's... surely it must be possible to have a high rollers table... there has to be some way of working around this max bankroll issue and buy-in issue with the 15/30k table.....

this is just another thing to make the sng's more popular... while we who prefer to play the ring tables get shoved to one side once again....

Great Lava but I hope the beginners tables are going to be limited to certain bank rolls like they used to be , we have way too many who would take advantage of newbies on here now.

Still looking for some lower buy in HU tables for those who like HU games and dont have many chips. Miss those, thats what got me started in the sng games and then into tournaments.

Hondr : There is no trick behind, it's not technically possible to have a 15k/30k table and we can now have Guaranteed amounts on SNG, it's just how the things moved now after discussing hours in goal to fix both.

dumbdog : Sorry but I don't think low limit HU would be that fun, HU is bingo for a poker newbie and make sense only after reaching a better level of play. The fact reloads are infinite -which can't be modified for now- could lead to chip dumping on newbies HU tables too. With all the complains about bingo on ring games I will skip any idea which isn't focused on quality of play, at least for now

Cuddycat : As SNG are op66 exclusive we can setup our past rules on newbies and learning table and ask for good players to never play there BUT for now newbies/learning SNG need players to fill which is more important for a newcomers than facing a shark so we will see later for adding any filter (which can't be automated btw).

Stevo : It would be possible to offer a voucher to a freeroll or tournament through SNG but we can't offer chips+voucher at the same time (at least not for now) and we haven't the sufficient money to go for such setup yet.

Guaranteed amounts on SNG is great for those who like to play them... seems things have moved from bad to worse as far as the ring tables go

there is all of ONE 2500/5000 table, which u can guarantee is FULL 90% of the time... and the blinds are far too small to make any real headway on your so called Toplists...

ok next question..... why did u join a network with a maximum bankroll of 21 million when like us u could have looked at the toplist at any point and realised EVERYONE on it had at least twice that amount

I have never been informed of such limitation but I still don't think it's a main issue as Legend points have done the trick to ensure a fair and matching transfer.
There is always a way to offer a good challenge... We need a stable software and the needed scripts to build our ideas, we have that and it's far enough : Numbers written on tables are just numbers.

so if Legend Points have 'done the trick' as u say whats the issue with a high roller table... oh thats right... the number 21,000,001 would be a touch catastrophic for the server....

i'm not argueing that the LP's are a bad idea or that they didnt make anything fair... i'm just saying that the 'TOPLIST' is now a waste of time.... especially for anyone new to the site... the chances if seing a newbie ever hit the topist is like being dealt a royal flush on the flop three times in a row...

We can't add a table which could trigger a bug, it's more important for the network to try to avoid all bugs than offering us what I've asked to match our past setup : I understand their point and I still think we can find a workaround.

As I said on your thread sooner we are working on weekly toplists and such live stuff in order to keep a more opened challenge. Tourney toplists are yearly so it make sense after 8 months to feel less movements than in january, as LP/chips toplist never reset it would have hitted an unreachable level at one time or another anyway, same story.

i suppose in a way its turned around,in the past the players who prefered to play sit&go's and not the rings had very little chance to climb to the top of the chip lists, mainly due to the time it took to win say 5mill on a mamouth in 60-80 mins, yet 10,15,20 million were changing hands(won or lost) in 1 hand on the rings.

Most players who were chasing topchip list played a number of tables at the same time, sit and go's and ring's if I remember rightly, that only stopped when we went to pitbull. Where the chip leaders played KOTH and other high buy in ring's.

i never made much on the rings, i used to play 2 or 3 minis. and managed to get up to 50 mill(at the time the highest chip count was 100 mill), i would have made alot more, but took a break for 2 months, when i came back it was shi*bull.
