Having a few problems

Hey all,

have given it a couple of weeks for any bugs to be ironed out. But as far as it comes to playing poker i still cant.

I can log into my account on the game side but as soon as i click either download poker or flash version the site just freezes on me and nothing loads or downloads, also realising im a few hundred K in chips that havent been transferred either.

If anybody could spare me some advice i would be very greatful.

Well let's try to deal with the technical issues first.

If you have not read through the technical section of the forum I would start there for easy fixes.

You can post here, or PM me.

What Operating System are you using on your computer (Type and version)
What browser are you using (Type and version)
Do you have a firewall or pop-up blocker?
Is it enabled?
What version of Flash?
How are you connecting to the Internet (Dial up, DLS, Office Network)?
Is this your personal machine at home or are you using a computer at a library or local Internet Café?

I am going to go with flash version for now since you seem to indicate that you can not download the local version.

hi tex,

using windows XP professional
running 8mb private broadband
using lastest version of firefox
pop up blockers not on and firewall is clear
this is my home pc

when i click to use flashversion, a window opens up ( has pictures of new table and instructions to choose a game )

i then click the very large play poker now at the bottom of this window and then nothing.

i have pop up blocker off, but just had to allow in firefox to open a sit and go table on the latest version of tables(flash)

be worth checking in firefox for add ons/ plug ins.
click tools (top of page) then add ons

yep all installed

its only since the change over, so i expect its something im missing. Just cant find it lol

its appears although maybe not the reason that i may have two accounts. This is unless my username is case sensative.

I have been able to log in under the usernames

drzed and DrZed

although neither if different, allow me to play poker

Please try with internet explorer, what I can't get is you can't access download page neither? Or can you access download page but you have nothing happening after clicking on a link there (use second one for firefox)?

Flash version forward you a blank page only after clicking on the big link at the bottom of tutorial, right? Same result with internet explorer?

Same with intenet explorer

click play poker now, opens new window with contents ( picture of new tables etc ) at bottom of window click here to continue to play poker, click away and nothing.

Click on download tables, that page pretty much freezes and nothing happens.

ok, let's try with direct urls, please try both through internet explorer and firefox :

1) the download page there : account.onlinepoker66.com - Get Started > CARDROOM DOWNLOAD

2) the direct flash lobby access : Loading...

I think you have 2 different issues, one with flash (I would advize to uninstall completely flash and reinstall it) and one with iframes or something else in your browsers (perhaps a spyware, I hope the direct link to download page could work otherwise try cleaning your computer with adware free edition for example, link there Ad-Aware Free - Download security software for spyware removal - Lavasoft)

both urls just give me a blank white page, the constant loading one.

Already have uninstalled and re installed flash player tonight and use ad aware and clear all my temp internet files etc everyday.

Have scanned tonight also and nothing showing.

hmm I see it's coming from account.onlinepoker66.com subdomain then, perhaps have you an security somewhere fully blocking the domain or game server IP, looks so as both browsers forward same issue.
Try to turn off your firewall and antyspywares just to access both urls listed before, worth a try (or if you see anything else you could turn off...)

you mean installation was ok and when you click on the icon on your desktop or through your programs you're having a message about config file missing?

installation was fine. click on icon. Picture with two aces comes up.
Bottom left says downloading new skinfiles and downloading config.ini

then says cannot find config files

hmm then it's definitely that you cannot access game server for whatever reason... If you are sure you have no firewall or antispyware rules running it should come from your ISP I bet, a good test would be to ask for someone using same ISP in your town or around to try to access the 2 direct urls I've listed before.
I will at the same time ask for a server tech to take a look on the issue but I've already seen such ISP story on last network, looks the same.
(If it's not a voluntary block from isp it could be an internet issue specifically between isp and game server hosting which isn't in the same place than onlinepoker66.com main domain)
