| Hello, Just a couple of suggestions, no big deal though if the answer is no can do. How about in a tourny, when it gets down to heads up, both players get seated and opposite ends of the table. I know it makes stuff all difference to the game, just thought it might be a nice minor dramatic touch, for a bit of fun. Is there any chance the blocked chat feature could be turned off, in tourneys at least? Lots of people like to wish someone 'good luck' when they have it all on the line. Can we ban the use of the word 'hun' !!!!!!!!!!!! (ooop's only joking) This one might be a little complicated, especially due to the different time zones, and I think it was suggested on the previous site. A year long tournament, with one round each month or fortnight. Each tourney has a 'points' prizefund, e.g 1000 points. Points are awarded for where you finish, e.g 1st = 100 pts, 2nd = 75 pts and so on down to 'say' 20th place. Then for the grand final at the end of the year (or whatever period of time it runs for) each player recieves 100 chips for every 10 points they have earned throughout the competition. That determines the amount of chips they start the grand final with. If you miss a game or two it may not matter because you always have the chance to catch up in the next one you enter, especially if you do well in it. Yes, it would be an uneven start in the grand final, but there are lots of competitions where something similar happens, and people are still willing to give it their best shot. Also, and most importantly, it would be FUN and promote the community aspect of the site. There you go, another short post from me LOL |
