OK this is gonna sound like a big suck up lol but I dont care because I mean it.

I would like to thank you Blacklava`for what you have created, not just a website but a community. I hope it has become what you wanted it to be.

I could go on about the old site Vs the one that's just finished but many of us have talked that issue to death lol. Original script, old script or the new one that's about to start isn't the point. The point is it's the community, and unlike any other poker site it's that community which makes OP66 stand out.

We have lost a few on the way, I got to the point of frustration myself on one occasion and posted to say I was leaving. I only managed to stay away for a week LOL. We have also had others join us, which is great. Hopefully our community will keep growing. There are 6 people that have joined as a result of me telling them to try the site out, and I'm sure others have had the same.

The forum has had it's fair share of heated debates, which can only be a healthy thing in the long run. It has also helped foster the community spirit that exists. Also it has allowed some great ideas to be suggested and acted on.

I'm sure some might point out that I shouldn't lose sight of the fact that at the end of the day this site is a business, and therfore about generating an income and a profit. Of course it is and there's nothing wrong with that. But hey, what a great way to try and achieve that, by also creating a unique community as it's central idea.

I'm glad I stuck around, through thick and thin (I missed a little of the thin bit once LOL). Apart from being able to play poker with people who are not only good players, but also great fun to be at a table with, I'm glad I stuck around because it makes me feel proud that I can consider myself to be a part of this community. Only a small part but part of it nevertheless.

We are on the eve of a new era in the relativley short history of OP66. Like many I am waiting with a sense of excitement and anticipation to experience the new site. There may be teething problems, there may be issues that arise down the track, but this community will I am sure remain loyal throughout. Some of us (including me) will continue to moan and critiscise when things go wrong. And some (including me) will continue to give credit where it is due. From what you have told us it promises to be a very positive change.

I hope the new site becomes exactly what you want it to become Blacklava, because in my book you deserve all the success you can get. As the person who had the idea for OP66, and the drive, determination, forsight and persistence to keep struggling to achieve your goal, even through numerous times of differing problems, I think you deserve a huge pat on the back and a sincere THANK YOU for what you have done and are continuing to do.

Not enough praise is given to BL & the team.Far to often i/we have jumped on their backs when things are not right.Im guessing thats partly because we care about this site so much and want the absolute best for OP66.
Hats off to BL,what a star man.Always comes across as a fair&helpful chap who is trying so hard to build somewhere unique.
How he continues on this mission in the face of all the problems is anybodies guess?
How patient,committed and enthusiastic can one man be?
I dont think there are many business owners out there that have the same ethical values.

Steve, I'm so glad you posted that. I feel the same way. But could never had gotten out like you said it. It said it all. With that said, I do want to send my own personal thank you to Lava and his team. Thank You!!!
I've seen where ppl. are playing poker. I'm not knocking them, but I will remain faithful to OP66. So hurry up....lol...just kiddin'. all good things come to those that wait and be patience. (thats what they say anyway)
