I will check but my gut feel is that this will not be possible on this network.

Below are a list of the repeating tournaments and the times, please review and if you want something different, reply here with the change suggestion and the reason and we will check to see if there is enough support for it. At the end I will summarize the suggested changes.

Outlaws - Daily 06:00, 12:00, 18:00, 24:00

Ultra Outlaws - Daily 05:00, 11:00, 17:00, 23:00

OP Hetmans - Daily 08:00

OP British Crown - Daily 14:00

OP NY Times - Daily 20:00

OP OZ Wombats - Daily 02:00

OP Mammoth - Saturdays 13:00

OP Ladies - Sundays 07:00

STL Tournament - Daily 16:00

Forum Calendar Event - Daily 04:00, 10:00, 16:00, 22:00

Mini Mammoth - Daily 06:00, 12:00, 18:00, 24:00

TiddlyW1nk Memorial - Saturdays 10:00

I guess all these times will change with daylight savings times?
And that would be daylight savings as observed by our collonial cousins in the US? (This is usually a week before daylight savings in UK)

Yes there will still be the normal DST changes...like we had a month or so ago.

Just a weird thought ... and just throwing it out there .... any chance that The Mammoth could be moved 12 hours later for 6 months of the year ...... and if that is not possible ..... can it be moved 12 hours later for the next year .... would only be fair .... it has been stuck in that time zone for as long as i can remember and it is a bit unfair ... like I said ... throwing it out there

On your profile, under the statistics where you see your medal counts, click the plus sign next to "show your detailed online statistics" (or something like that).

Cheers.

KingCard, I well remember the rolling 5 hour tournaments and personally liked that format. But for as many people that liked it, there were just as many at the time who wanted them to be played at a fixed time, you know how it goes, can't please all the people all the time.

It seems to me that one of the bigger problems over recent times has been the timing of Wombats, nominally the 'evening' tournament for the Aussies.

I see no reason there has to be a six hour gap between each tournament, OK it is nice and symmetrical, but if it was played an hour or two later and gave the Aussies time to get home from work and play then that could only be a positive ( it might take their minds off the Ashes ).

So here is the breakdown of suggestions:

1. Drop Minimum players for 4 daily tournaments to 15
2. Weekly Omaha tournament
3. Make the schedule a rolling one hour advance all week long
4. Move Mammoth to +12 hours from where it is 6 months of the year

I will check and see what we can do on these.

Thanks to all for the input.
