What could we change to boost Sit&Go?

This is the main reason i stopped playing them on script#2.
The buy-in compaired to the prize fund made it to long a game for the profit achievable.
In the same amount of time,you can win alot more on the ring tables,at any level.

Without a gauranteed prize pot higher than the pot raised from buy-ins,i cant see the sng's becoming popular like script#1.

Is it possible to have multi table sng's?

Like I said in the actual thread yet : We can't add guaranteed amount to SNG (I will check on monday if that could be a future coding).

No multi-table SNG can be setup with actual script neither.


We could grab SNG results from script and then add extra prizes that way when we'll have the needed API stuff to add/remove play money too... Could be a workaround for adding a Guaranteed amount (tricky but could work).
Same apply for SNG stats or specifics toplists, could be a future coding (complex and server intensive but perhaps possible)

wow a whole 35 minutes to gain 4k.... thats y i wont be playing too many, especially the higher buyin ones... too much time for too little reward

For low limits there is no way to make it more profitable than ring games while keeping infinite reloads at the tables... And such network wide policy won't change I fear.
I mean that even with 30k guaranteed on 1k buyins SNG it would still be only a 10k reward for 40 min which could be beaten by any smart all-inner at the play money ring games

Yep Tel there were some with incentives thats how i built my stack on the old site.

if we cant add extra chips from winning s n gs what about winning a boost or card for outlaws or maybe even bullets

For the ones who don't play Outlaws : You will be able to resell your bullets against real money so it's not an unfair setup...

Why not : "Any SNG victory = 1 bullet", it would give more reasons for newbies to hit learning and newbies SNG (would need a rule to avoid sharks going on lower limits then for sure)

but right now we have 2 choices.... play 'BINGO' on the ring tables, or play a low buyin sng... either way until our chips are transfered its a no win situation... make very small gains, or get bingo'd to death.... either of which really are not that appealing to me.... i think im gonna stick to playin the T's for now.....

the original OP66 script was a winner lava, there were tables for bankrolls under 2k only (learners) and then there were tables for others with more experiance etc, the problem rises when a newcomer joins and goes to a ring table, they then play nothing but bingo, then if they are lucky they get to go and play at slightly higher tables, where, they get stuffed cos all they know is bingo.... and the more experienced players are better that that... then they get to go play bingo again, they wil never learn to play and improove their game... i dont think it make s a whole lot of difference what you do... when u moved us drom the original script to the pi$$bull network u basically (not on purpous) shot the sng's in the back and tarnished them for what appears to be FOREVER!!

What people don't seem to realise is the first OP66 was a stand alone script which could be customised by lava, the higher payout were possible cause of the 5% tax and the fact it wasn't a network.

At the end of the day, we are still able to play poker here, with what happend with pit Lava could've just said sod it i'm not gona bother anymore and we'd have no poker.

I think when chips are transfered people will be alot happier cause they can play where they want, i know when i've got my chips i'll be hitting the SnG more than any other tables and doing my best to get people to join me.

i will still play tem, just not til i got my chips, i cant be doin with the long games for little gains.... i used to play them on pit's network just to make up the numbers if nothing else, i wasnt worried about the gain i got from them... but as it stands i dont see the point...

I suppose the answer is 'yes' i will be much happier when i get my chips... only problem i see is only ONE high stakes table.... could take a while to even get in to play

There is 2 higher stakes tables at the mo, a 2500/5000 and 15k/30k.

A way to up winnigs on sng would be to up max players to 30 that way 3 times the winnings, with min players 10. Might help.

i agree, we need higher payouts at the tables, to bring people back. Maybe a higher chip count upon entering. Played the 5k and only got 500 in chips to play with, could of been at least 1000. More will play i'm sure but for now we just don't have the chips. Tired of playing BINGO just to get enough to play the op tourneys.

also played 15 hands straight and NEVER even seen a pair????
