What could we change to boost Sit&Go?

What I miss at the new OP is less tourneys ,which sng could replace. I like tourney play better than ring, but that may be because I got turned off by former bingo players. The old OP had ongoing tourneys like twisted and Baz. That's wher I played the most.
I don't believe forcing the issue is a wise long term solution.

Boss, i love the sng's.. I remember having to wait for the longest to get in 1 and now, you wait longer to get 6 players to get on a table?..perhaps there may be a sit and go tournament ?? Best out of 5 lets say??? Hmmm??? Something to that sort..

hi lava my daughter has just joined the site, and finding it hard to get a game on s'n'g, i was thinking if you added a couple of heads up tables at 1k buyin, might get the newbies playing more and help with there bankroll

The fact we have no HU SNG below 30k is a voluntary setup, I think HU is a good thing only when you have yet a guess of the betting patterns otherwise it's pure bingo and boring.
The SNG need to fill but at the same time I'm trying to handle the bingo issue... Now it's my point of vue I know newbies would love HU, just that I prefer to keep trying to have 6 seaters learning/newbies running at first

I miss the heads up play for the lower buyins. There was always a player ready to join a HU table, no waiting. Its how i first started to play the sit and go's. It brought me to them and now to the tourneys too.
Maybe it would help boost the sng games.

my idea for s-n-g is this,have a time limit once the 6 seater reaches 4 waiting and the 10 seater reaches 8 waiting so it starts weather or not it reaches the max ppl,also have a bonus for the winner of either chips or credits just to add that little extra to entise ppl to play,these ideas may have already been suggested if so then they must be good ones and worth concidering thanks.

well, i was wrong, i thought once everyone`s chips were reimbursed, the sng`s would be much more popular. i think the only way to get them back to their former popularity is to reintroduce a prize boost, maybe 20%...

if i remember correctly the payouts on the old site was a lot higher and this made them a lot more popular than now. Still think this is a big issue and might illiminate long waits,

6 seater 100k.
add 6 seater 200/250k
6 seater 500k
6 seater 750k ( yes have fire and ice, but with double stack they take ages to play)
6 seater 1 mill.

as the 10 seaters still taking ages to fill

Every chance i get, i mention some HU in lower buyins. Its how i got started playing the sng's. It was a good intro into the larger sng tables.
And then onto the tourneys for me. Just a thought to help boost the newbies into the sng's. I agree with more 6 seaters, the 10's take too long to fill. Even with the 6 seaters i sometimes need to go table to table trying to get players to fill the seats, even with a post in the forum.

how about introducing them to the free tables so we can all have a go, as this will encourage anyone thinking of going over to real money tables to have a play on them...

SNG are only for OP66 players and the few I've played were no bingo at all and full of avatars. Ideas are welcome to boost those!

I played at least 5 or 6 sng's yesterday. No bingo there at all. Each game was a great time. Started a couple of newbies sng's too. Got a couple
of newbies to play, which they seem to enjoy and will be back to the sng's again i think. Maybe a thread how to log into sng and a little about what the sng's are about. I had to help a couple of newbies get to the sng tables, they werent sure how to do it and then another thought there were only real money sngs'. So a thread geared towards the newbies may help too. (if there isnt one already) May i add, that most of the sng's I played yesterday, filled with in 10 or 15 mins time. Posting in the forum and visiting tables to announce it, seems to help.

Def. like the Poker Points idea so ppl could try and collect enough for the $100 freeroll etc. I bet then the S&G would be filled almost all the time or at least more often then it is now

havent read all through this thread totally but just an observation here
i got no probs startin or joinin a sitngo after i get home from work 2 or 3 pm az time but ive noticed after nytimes starts it dies there totally .......same as chat room too lol maybe not enough u.s. players in this time but ive never had a prob gettin in a sitngo after work.
