| reports last night said he refused to come on the pitch, this morning a statement from him suggests this was not true. also reading other statements one is reported to say that he was not mentally ready to play. if this is the case why didnt he tell his manager before even flying out to germany. to me it seemed premeditated. he hasnt wanted to play for us since january and this was his biggest way yet of saying so. the manager and the club have done everything possible to make this man happy. i now believe its time for the manager and the club to do everything they are legally possible to make this man unhappy. from a fans point of view i could understand his reasons for wanting to leave(if they were true). after january he continued to play 100% for the club. at the end of the season he was disrespectful to manchester(not just our club the city itself). this was hard to take on the chin for most fans. when his summer move fell through most were willing to forget and get behind him(again). you can understand him starting on the bench, with no preseason and our other strikers hitting top form. this time was a little different, when he did get on the pitch it looked like he couldnt be bothered. last nights fiasco is the final straw for most fans if not all fans. its no surprise to here that this is his first club in a long long time he has spent more than 2 years at. if it was up to me id let him rot in reserves. then when eligible he can buy out the remainder of his contract and fly off back home. we have the financial clout to do so, but i cant see it happening. either way he should not play another minute for city. rant over ![]()

| I recon sir Alex has a good judgment of character, you can see now, if you didn't before why he didn't keep him. You'd think if Tevez was upset for being left on the bench, He'd try his best to show everyone what he can do. It's a shame, He's one of the best forwards in the Premiership, but a pathetic man. I really hope that Man City make life as hard as possible for him now.

| i agree he did see something that stopped him from keeping him long term. i always put that down to his owner and now agent kia joorabchian. i was hoping that when we actually bought him off him he would leave him alone. he is the type of person that if you shook his hand you would count your fingers after. too bad tevez cant see this and follows his advice. again this is just my opinion

| TBH city coulda done with him playing last night, if he went out (if he didnt reject if its true) it could of had a huge impact on the game. city are paying a hell of alot for him and he doesnt even play when they were down by 2 goals! But mancini knows what he is doing so i will give him that.. i dont even support city but for any city fan, just have trust in him! ![]()

| A statement on the club's official website read: "Manchester City can confirm that striker Carlos Tevez has been suspended until further notice for a maximum period of two weeks. "The player's suspension is pending a full review into his alleged conduct during Tuesday evening's 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich". "The player will not be considered for selection or take part in training whilst the review is under way." Tevez is an extreme example of what the ludicrous amounts of money that the "stars" are paid can do to people, they start to think they actually "earn" the amount of money that they are paid and start throwing their toys out of the pram when they dont get their own way. The fans of the clubs who work and scrimp and scrape by to afford the ridiculous prices of the season tickets are the ones who lose out every which way. If Mancini has any balls he will stick to his guns and not play him. Personally I think keeping hold of him and just making himr play for a 3rd division team on a free loan for the rest of his contract would be a good enough punishment. He cant con another club or clubs fans then.

| Think most people knew what a mercenary he was and now city fans have finally had enough. Hey true story, Limavady in Northern Ireland have put in an official request for a loan deal. send him there lol. anyways, in an ideal World i think City should hold onto him let him train on his own if he wants paid and then let him go august next year at 23.59 before the deadline closes. what a tool he is. anyways be interesting to see what actually happens. while city have money they wouldnt want to write off 20/30 million, or waste 200k a week on a player who doesnt play, i bet city are trying to prove that he has breached his conract so they dont have to pay him etc but also to get some comepnsation from him.

| Tevez is a joke, I agree with everything said above PLUS I reckon he should leave football altogether and take his money back to his family he speaks so much about wanting to be with. NO USE FLYING ABROAD TO A GAME WHERE UR NOT EVEN GONNA PLAY, GO BACK TO YER WIFE N KIDS, THEY'RE PROBABLY THE ONLY ONES WHO WANT YOU NOW! ![]() kwak |

| Keep him at Man City, cut his wages.....and let him sit out rest of contract ON the reserves bench. If they let him go, he's got his way, about time these jumped up, over-paid show-offs got treated like real-people and not 'superior-untouchable' beings. ps.... i don't like him anyway! lol

| lol dads mercenary isnt soley associated with war.. see defintion number one below! mer·ce·nar·y (mûrs-nr) adj. 1. Motivated solely by a desire for monetary or material gain. 2. Hired for service in a foreign army. n. pl. mer·ce·nar·ies 1. One who serves or works merely for monetary gain; a hireling. 2. A professional soldier hired for service in a foreign army. i think number one pretty much sums up Tevez.he is a hirling. hired by kia goorabi something something i assume.

| so he has been charged wit h refusal to warm up, but not refusal to play. if youre not warmed up you can not play surely? it could be they want to keep his market price as high as possible. just hope between now and selling him we are not forced into a situation where we have to play him, injuries ect.
