Default Finally some backbone

I wouldn't dream of suggesting England's win against Spain was a wonderful display of magical football but for once they showed lots of spirit and backbone that was palpably missing during the World Cup, well done England!!!

anyone else think the partnership of lescott and jag...jagi..... that bloke form everton is the way forward? clearly didnt miss terry or rio. also thought lescott was unlucky not to get man of the match, parker did put in a good shift tho.

Never rated Ferdinand, either too slow or too casual, considers himself much better than he really is, probably reads his own press and believes it. Terry seems past it, falls over too much. At least you can see Lescott and Jagielka are trying their utmost and you can't ask much more.
