Default The Open at St. Andrews

Before it started today i fancied McIlroy and Westwood to do well. McIlroy as i type this is the leader by two and playing unbelievable. Tiger Woods however is starting to sink some putts and he is now going to be difficult to stop, theer are loads of others who should fancy themselves to win it.Its a very open "Open" lol. Anyone else going to be watching it?

im watching right now. John Daily is off to a great start(7 under thru 12 holes) at a course he likes but unlikely he could keep it together. Great scoring conditions today.

McIlroy has set a record low score for St. Andrews. What a player. He said when interviewed that its the lowest "yet". this shows you how perfect the conditions must be. Expect many many low scores.

After scoring a record low score he still has a lot of work to do, three behind that crazily named african dude. ill be watching it with interest. also harrington is off at 2.30. i have a tenner on him winning his three ball. I can see him going for everything today.

was a great open, louis was a worthy winner, had e/w bets on mcilroy and westwood, so made a couple of quid. westwood is well due a major now, if he wins the next, he'll be world no.1...

n1 jim, always nice to draw on a golf bet.

as for westwood would be good to see him win a major, but he needs to get over them last round nerves, when well placed to win.

Im going on sunday with my lad jack it'll be his first 18 holer..so wud like to wish him luck. I was mighty impressed by a wave of europeans who seem to be finding there form very well and just in time for the ryder cup, our friends across the water will have there work cut out to retain the Title. When it comes to the world of golf and St Andrews, theres only 1 word that's fitting and that's AWESOME. Steve.
