iv heard to answers(thanks google lol) one being beer creates(hockey and sons brewer) put end to end. but this is widely thought to be true but its false as there has never been a brewer called this lol

other is it comes from a old english word called hocken(to spit) where the playes spat from the wall and the furthest was where they there from

is it true that in melbourne a jocket fell of his horse in a race and the hosre with no rider and a jockey was falling of his mount and jumped on horse with no jockey and won race ...confusing yes what about the race caller who called no race ..
