Spurs in with a shout?

It looks like Tottenham are playing their best football for years.

It would be good for English football for the title race to stay so close for the rest of the season.

City are looking strong and United can never be ruled out, although I think this is the weakest United squad for a long time.

Chelsea seem to lack consistency, and Arsenal have started to hit form but maybe too late.

Liverpool are floundering and don't look likely to make the top 3.

Who do you think will be champions this season and why? Will it stay this close?

I'm a Southampton fan, but my 2nd team has always been Spurs. I love Harry Redknapp (even though he couldn't save us from relegation in 2005). Garreth Bale is class, shame he's Welsh. If Spurs can win tomorrow they have a great chance but I think City are odds-on favourites. Come on you Spurs!!!
I remember at the start of the season when they lost the first two games lots of fans were calling for Harry to quit lol. Harry is by far the best English manager at the moment and I can't wait for him to take the England job.

Well seeing as i am a spurs fan i would love to see us take the title, we have been playing fantastic lately and as long as we keep that up im sure we can make it to the top...

Tough game tomorrow so lets see how we do.

Good points Shaun.
I forgot to add that I'm not a spurs fan, I just think that they're adding a lot to the interest in the premiership at the moment.

I also think that Swansea are doing pretty well considering the size of the club and their ground.
They were widely expected to sink like a stone this season.

love it when people say spurs should win because city are buying success. spurs are one of the top 4 spenders in the prem. people praising harry look at the state of portsmouth. you never know "arry" might be in prison soon lol

Good game, pity Defoe wasn't able to poke in in injury time.

Balotelli was lucky to still be on the pitch, the ref could easily have interpreted a 'deliberate stamp'.

Can't see Spurs winning the title now, Man City won't slip up more than them before the end of the season.

Unbelievable end to the game. Terrible 1st half, but the 2nd was great. You need a bit of luck to be champions...was this result a pivotal moment in deciding the premiership?? Be interesting to see how the next match pans out, think united need to win.

If the ref says he saw it in his match report, Balotelli is safe. As the commentators said, only he will know if it was deliberate.

im finding it hard to defend mario. but here goes parker made a 2 footed lunge on richards in the first half and shouldnt have been on the pitch to get his head stamped on

Great 2nd half, Shame Spurs got nothing out of the game, I think a draw would have been a fair result. Spurs will hopefully still finish 3rd.
