IDK how many of you know who I'm talking about, but Tim Tebow is the Broncos "astounding" new quarterback. He's the who's does the dumb little prayer before each game. I can't stand him. He's so obnoxious. "The Lord works in mysterious ways." Yeah right, tell that to the poor kids I see on my way to work, not to the fans after you squeak in a win against other trash teams. Sorry for the rant, we are open for discussion lol

Ya I agree with you on this. I wish him and all athletes would refrain from showing their personal beliefs in what or whoever they believe in. Media doesn't help as they try to make those figures as their gods and that they are the only one's that God listens to.
Like many things in this world, if there was no cell phone cameras, tweets etc, the world would be a better place.
I wouldn't be able to complain about this to the world if the means of transmission were not there however lol.

given the amount of time/money/resources tim tebow has donated to charity in his short career so far, he can be the worst and most over-rated player of all time and pray to and thank whomever he damn well pleases.....in my opinion.........

why does this bother people?, i dont get it, i could care less what tebow does. hes a football player that likes to pray. doesnt he have the right to do what he wants?, its a free country over here in the USA.

these football players dance in the end zone, make millions of dollars, go with beautiful women, are always in the news for something or another.

maybe they should be like robots, just play football and nothing else..

Well I think Tim Tebow is a good player and getting better, as far as him praying its his right to do so, thats why we live in a free country the U.S.A.. He prays because hes thankful for everything that God has given him and for keeping him injury free and in such a hard hitting game.

Yeah he's donated a ton of money, and that I thank him for. But his jabber about "not being a virgin" and every other Holy thing he spews is beyond me. I can't stand it when people "Tebow" and not realize that he only does it because he thinks all of his talents were God given.


And without the Denver Defense, Tebow would be a little cockroach trying to run every play.

Personally (this is me thinking out loud here), I am grateful when an athlete will acknowledge his Creator, as opposed to be an egotist.

In my not-so-humble opinion, we need more "Tebow-types", not less...

I agree to some extent. Me, not being religious, find his talk annoying. I'm not saying he shouldn't be allowed to believe in it, but I'm here to watch football, not get a sermon. I've heard chatter from him during games, and honestly I'm astounded, he is a Christian family's dream. I'm just sick of ESPN's infatuation with him. He's not that good of a football player. Sure he was good at college, but he is far from carrying the Broncos.

OK now i understand what you are saying and you do make a point, football is football and thats what we are here too see. Hes good but he will never make the top 10 QB. But remember maxx its christmas time and he only has a week or 2 left so bear with him till after the holidays.
