 Is there really any point? I'm watching the world athletics championships, the 20 kilometre walk. The slow motion camera proves that 90% of the athletes are actually breaking the rules by not walking but running. The rules state that some part of one foot should always be in contact with the ground, almost none of them are sticking to the rule so what is the point. Add to that the fact that half of them are on some sort of performance enhancing drugs and the whole thing becomes a farce.

| my 1970's alarmclock going off at odds hours sounds like more fun fred .as deaply disturbing as it is that people competatvly walk at all.,,, is,,, the fact that there are people who would whatch them walk ...  fred , ya gotta get outta the house more....   . .....Mmmmm , nothing more fun than watching paint dry : i tell you what"

| Plus, they're allowed to cheat, receive a warning for running, cheat again, receive another warning for running then hope they don't get caught a third time. If they want to walk fast they should just RUN!!!
