Default They never stop pressing do they...?

Maybe its time to hand the England Managerial Job to the press..Well why not..? They seem to have all the answers especially when things go pear shaped, as they so often do. They always come up with there own ingenious idea's as to how it should of been and to be quite honest it must be frightening for the next bunch of selected players. O.k it has to be said we didn't perform to the expectations of the public and for all the dissapointed fans that had saved there hard earned money and travelled so far to support the team they love. At the end of the day most of our experienced players just weren't good enough, they all seemed burn't out. The solution to the problem seems to be copy the germans, bring on the youngsters and groom them for the future of English football. Hmm I wonder wheather the team of 66 where groomed this way..? I dont think so. Theres one thing I do know and that is the English press will be there to drag it to its knees as soon as it fails..so lets give them the reins and win everything in site.. Steve.

the english press are absolute scum. i don't buy any papers any more.
i think we need a winter break, cos as you said steve, we looked burnt out. we were told rooney was 100% fit, but he clearly wasn't.
would love to see harry in charge, but it will never happen, same as brian clough was never given the chance.
but at least we're not the only top ten team to go home early..

Well put m8tey, and I totally agree with ya bud that cloughie should of been given the chance, at least he'd of put the fear of god into them. Another candidate should of been jack charlton, I mean come on what more do they want he had world cup winning experience and they snubbed him. At the end of the day the F.A just want yes men so they can call the shots without the fear of being told to shove it up there jacksy. Steve. Thanx jimmy and hope your well m8. P.S Im sure the press could of pressured the F.A into sorting out the best man for the job, they bring everything else to its knees.

not content with ruining the current squad by building them up with names like the "the golden generation" don't think it was two days after our exit from the cup. when they was asking who are the future stars to replace them. talk about putting the pressure on early. they should leave sport alone and stick to covering reality TV programs.

We need to go back to allowing only 2 or 3 players from abroad in the starting 11.

That way the youth have a chance of making the teams in all divisions of the game.

An the fa should put a big cash injection into the grass roots of the game to bring on the talent, that is out there not for the next world cup but to build a team for 2018,as for the press anything to sell papers.

have to disagree. that rule is daft. its basically saying english players are sh** so lets put in place rules to make sure they play each week. The players attitude stank. Yes Fabio made mistakes but if the players put the effort in like they do with their clubs england would have done better. Gerrard the ENGLAND CAPTAIN whinging because he is out of position. get on with it and think of the team tosser. and John Terry trying to undermine capello. he should have been dropped. Fabio needs to be more ruthless and drop the "star" players.
