Was on the edge of my seat at the end my god. The Welsh really showed passion amd a massive desire to win.

Great game to watch, edge of the seat for the last 20 minutes. Well done France.

I don't think the red card tackle was fully intended to end the way it did, but that's what happened so I reckon the red card was a fair call considering it had to be made there and then.

I agree France will need to play better than that to win the cup though.

So really looking forward to tomorrows game. Who do you lot think will get through? Who would you prefer France to meet Teebs?

I don't think France has the game to beat either New Zealand or the Aussies, the welsh was unlucky but they did have the kicks to win and it's semi final of world cup so every kick was pressure, if you miss you lose.....i think the all blacks will win.

Well in all fairness France has a better record against the all blacks in previous world cups. So I'd like to see a France - New Zealand final...
Although a revenge from the 1999 world cup woulda also be nice

Damn we lost. Too many errors and you can't afford to do that when your up against the best in the world. Well done the All Blacks they played really well.

So now we meet Wales in the bronze final. Hopefully that will be another edge of the seat game like Wales V's France.

Yea you may be right ww about the style of play against France. I also think NZ will win but it may not be (should be) as big a beat as you predict.

Well everyone is rooting for the all blacks, and predicting a huge win... so i'd be happy if they manage to prove everyone wrong. The fact that they didnt really "play" rugby against wales, is because they didnt have to. They felt they were ahead and defended pretty well in the 2nd half to be honest.
They are a very inconsistent team, yet many will agree that they are just as capable of playing the game of their lives. Lets see if thats the case next sunday.
Either way im really looking forward to the match.

I agree with you Teebs, they are capable of playing well and they are not bad team. But I think you have hit the nail on the head when you say they are inconsistent. It would have to be the games of their lives. I do think they will get beaten but it would be great if it turns out to be a close game.

Well done to the Aussies for the 3rd place....and a big well done to Wales who really showed they have a side which can perform in the big matches.

I'm looking forward to the final. Obviously the All Blacks are favorites, and I think they should win by a good margin, but I'm hoping France are on form and make it a close game because that will be more interesting to watch. Good luck to both teams.

Well done the All Blacks. Without doubt the most consistent team of the tournament. And very well done to France they played really really well. I'm sure they are bitterly disappointed but they can hold their heads high having shown the world how good they can play when they are on their game.

What a great tournament it's been. Some really enjoyable matches and a couple of surprises along the way to keep the interest high for the fans.

On the down side there was the very disappointing and unsporting behavior of the New Zealand fans booing Quade Cooper. That wasn't necessary, and one commentator described it as 'disgusting', which I reckon was a fair call.

But overall a great tournament.

Well done France and well done New Zealand Rugby World Champions.

Well congrats to the All Blacks for a world cup which they pretty much dominated from start to finish, eventhough France put up a good fight today.
I have to say i'm a bit disapointed with the ref which I believe was slightly in favour of New Zealand
