I would flat call or call a min raise with A - 2345 suited. The thoughts there being that if they are min raising they probably have connectors, split connectors or a suited hand ranging from about 9/10s - K/10s. So then I know I am ahead on the ace; and I know I have alot of outs ranging from top pair to straight flush. Granted the kickers going to be a tough thing to get over, but I don't think many people will be min raising or flat calling with a high ace, so I can assume that if the flop is A K X, and if they bet out, it's because they have hit the king, and a higher bet would purely solidify that as it shows them trying to knock me off the hand because they are scared of the ace on the board.
In saying that if the gives me nothing it's an easy fold because it's a poor hand anyway.
Never play A - 6789 (unless I've got a good few chips, it's suited and I'm in a good position [but even then I would only be looking to play the higher end of the 6 - 9 spectrum])
But I agree with jimmy, I would never go all in with A rag because, even if I'm live, if I find myself up against any pocket pair (higher than the rag kicker) I only have like 7% of winning after the flop (that being if the flop is bs to me

). And the same again (7%) if I find myself against a better ace. I mean that's worse than 10/1 ... Those odds don't seem good to me
I'll stop there lmao
