| Hi, is it better to have two aces or ace, king suited? It seems to me that I lose more often with two aces, but I'm not sure... |

| i disagree i always lose with a k when its delt me i see it as a bogey hand for myself m8 but that just me. its all about wot you do with wot you got in your hand in my opinion not the cards themselves obviously there are better and worse ones but they can all win so dont go crazy with aa or ak read wots goin on at the table.

| I have to disagree paul. In my opinion, people should go all in pre flop with AA or AK.the reason people go all in with A,A or A,K is to scare off as many opponents as possible, so they are only against 1 or 2, increasing their odds of winning. either of these hands should be an automatic all in, in my opinion(probably the only cards i would go all in with pre flop

| chinese/irsh knows what he's talking about and I totaly agree with what he said. I really don't see the point of going all in when you have a very high risk of someone calling and loosing all your chips. Stick to the high cards and give yourself a fighting chance. Good Luck |

| I prefer the suited connectors only because you can win more, once an Ace comes out on the board people are more likely to fold! Thats why you also go all in in my opinion |

| Okay guys, the fact that this subject is even being debated worries me. AA is clearly a superior hand to AKs and it isn't even close. AA is approximately an 80% favourite over every single other hand it faces when it is heads-up. AKs is only a 70/30 favourite over 72o, it is a slight under dog if your opponent has a pair, and a major unerdog if your opponent has AA or KK. Even against hands like JTs it is only a 62% favourite.

| Personally, I have NEVER won with AA. Every time I get it, I get all excited, woo hoo, good hand... then nothing. I am yet to actually win off that damned hand. KK is the same, I've had much better luck with nothing hands. |
