| Getting a chip lead whenever is a good thing. As long as you're keeping pace with the average then it really doesn't matter about your stack. Wait till you hold the nuts and take as many chips as you can.

| Your goal in a big multi tournament should be to get the final table with 1st place your main goal. Best strategy I was told a long time ago is to play very tight and safe. You only need to win 1 maybe to hands in an hour, betting only high probable wins with tops pairs and such. When and if you make it to the final table strategy changes to a bit more aggressive. It takes a bit of discipline and patience to stick to it. |
