| I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I always find that i will play hands that i would normally fold, just because i am small or big blind. Do others still fold these hands or play anyway because they already have money in the pot?? Thanks for example i just got Jc4c on the big blind, i'd normally fold that but am considering playing it. Saying that someone jsut raised 382 on a 15 big blind so i folded anyway. Thoughts please Last edited by Carmine555; 04-02-2008 at 01:42 PM.. |

| on a table, if i get a bad hand that i would normally fold, but i have put in the big blind and no one raises, everyone calls or checks then i would check and call to see the flop. basically as long as i don't have to put in anymore chips i will stay in and see what i get cause sometimes you will hit something, but just because you have had to put chips into the pot doesn't mean you should continue to if you have bad cards, you will just lose chips. i guess the game is all about patience and intelligence. not that i am always patient :P earboy in your situation i would play like this: as above if no one increased the blind i had just put in or it was very small i would continue to at least the flop, but like you said if it is a big raise it is more then likely i would fold, it's a good hand but is it worth risking the chips with a low kicker? |
