| I was just wandering what some of your opinions are on deep stack tourneys and whether or not you would play differently if say our Op66 tourneys where 5000 chips starting stack instead of 1500 with the same blind structure. Just thought id throw it out their and see what every1 thinks and curious too know how you would or wouldnt put the extra chips to use.

| for me the only real difrence is in a deep stack torny i will limp and enter small bet starting hands with a lot bigger range of starting hands much the same way i do in a normal torny if i find i have a larger than most stack eg with a large stack hands like 6 8 suted and 8 9 unsuted become playerble starting hands wheres with less chips thay would be instent folds pre flop apart from that the only other difrence i find is you have a lot more time to be pationce and waght for the hands to come to you meaning you dont need to push so often to pretect your hands so there for "hopefully" making more small profits while minamising the risks.

| i like deepstack tourneys alot better,i think they are alot like cash games because u get to play more poker and see more flops instead of a shove fest when the blinds start to get high.

| I love deep stack tournaments. I feel it is there that a real strategy for different phases of the tournament can be developped at the fullest: time to observe, vary the game, see patience pay, etc. I also like slower blind structures (timewise) for the same reasons (and that is more difficult to implement online). Now, on a free site it probably woudln't affect random/bingo play much, I'd think. |
