Default Example Hands: Two Pair

Simple thread, you are at a table with the following scenario.
State what you would do so that it might help other people if they ever end up in a similar situation.

------------

Background info:
One on one situation. You have the smaller stack.
You are dealer and as such have position.

YOUR POCKET: 8 Hearts / 9 Spades

------------

THE FLOP: 8 Diamonds / 9 Hearts / K Hearts

Your opponnent bets
You raise
Your opponent calls

------------

THE TURN: 3 Hearts
Your opponent makes a very large raise, enough to almost knock you out if you lose.

What do you do?

my question is, how large was the opponent's raise after the flop & how much did u re-raise it?

if he made a low raise maybe he has only a k with a low card (if he had a high card he surely had try an huge raise to avoid the 3 hearts)..

the problem is that such low card could have been just that 3 on the turn, this will explain the other raise (even u didn't say how he raised that once)..

knowing that (he could have 2 pair or a flush) if u have a small stack u don't have problems to go all in, so u can't fold 2 pair even in that condition..

maybe the oppenent's behaviour is so strong in order to push u to fold ur hand, so my advice is push all-in & don't be afraid of that ( i would do that just after the flop but i coul'd be wrong)..

mmm depends on the raise on the flop.

i think i would fold. except if the guy's raise would've looked like value bet showing he had pair of kings.

but still, it's risky.

I would call because if you've got so far to be in a one on one situation, assuming you're on a mini torny table, the blinds are more likely to be that big if you fold you will have to be very lucky to get such a good chance of winning again. So with two pair i'd call.
