Default experience, guide, or observing?

i just wanted to know what is the most helpful to all the good players out there. how did you learn the strategies you use now. ive been playing for two weeks or so now and i havent looked up any guides or strategies yet. did just finding your own way and testing things out help. or did going by the book and counting outs/pot odds/bet odds/implied odds win the most games. or did watching the best players and what they do really help you.

the most helpful of course is knowing the rules of the game.
strategy wise comes from experience and watching other good players play.
try to play at smaller tourney first to build up your confidence and polish your skill.
i hope this would help, good luck on your game.
