how low should the kicker be for you to fold your pocket if the high is a face card?

Depends on table size.

If its less than five, you can probably play any hand. Be wary of jacks and queens though.

If the table is 6-10, the kicker needs to be above 7 or 8 for a blind call. Ideally it should be a 10 or higher to call a raise.

Suited hole cards are worth 5% extra remember.

that is exactly the advice i would give. whe it comes to heads up though, i`d bet with A2,K2,K3 etc...

Playing with a low kicker has cost me plenty. The kicker really makes a difference in a lot of hands. Bobf111 has a thread on this.

I usually go in with any kicker if it is low call other then that i fold.
