Read the tips in the strategy forum, in partucular JMahoney wrote a good piece on this, but generally, I would say only try to be patient, and if you are in any doubt. FOLD. You will find it not to difficult to get to the last 10 if you learn to be a bit canny, but it is a really tough game once you get to the final table. I have improved my game recently by following the advice that I have picked up from reading JMahaoneys posts, and watching the stye of play from such players as the Donkey, Roo27, Danzi and a few others. You can learn a lot from watching a big tourney after you are eliminated. Wish you all the best !!

Ok, so bad loser took me out! how mean was that! first tourney went well, i feel i could've played better, i lost to pair of aces i think it was and i had pocket 10s, i got excited by the cards and though i was thinking fold, you aren't going to win... i just went for it lol it's could've paid off, but it didn't. ah well, i got to 25th out of 64 so not so bad for my first tourney i do not think. If any one that was playing the tourney or watched it could give me some feedback on how i could get better it would be much appreciated...

Thanks to everyone i played with, it was very enjoyable , but i will get you next time!

Well played, the all in move payed off for you early on, so you had some chips to play with. Glad you enjoyed it, I did too as I went on to win.

The WSOP guy was mad, I couldn't work him out, never knew whether to fold, call or raise him !!!!
