| you should read blacklava's post about what hands to play. -AA KK QQ JJ TT AK AQ AJ KQ KJ if suited raise by 4-5 times the big blind -AK AQ AJ KQ KJ not suited or 99 and 88 you should raise by 1-3 times big blind -Any lower pair just call and some people like to call suited connectors (7/8 of hearts) fold everything else. sometimes you might get lucky with the flop but other than that it is much better for your chip stack to fold crap hands and only play the best. 15-20% of hands is about what the top players play when there are 4-10 people at the table. that number goes up a lot when its head to head and 3 players left. |
