Stern is 100% right and the one thing we need to clear up to all the players here is that we do have the RIGHT ANSWER. If we take a look at Dan Harringtons M concept as kindly posted by Stern we are ALLIN at this stage with any 2 cards. Stern has posted all the math here for those of you that dont know about the M concept. We have a M of 2 which is red zone or red alert if you like. As long as no other players have entered the pot its shove time. Gus Hansen talks about the M concept in his own book Every Hand Revealed which I would highly recommend. If Gus reaches a M of 2 he will be the first to take advatage and represent strengh by getting it allin with 74 os and asking the other players can you beat my hand? He portrays alot of strength being first to shove like this and the worst case scenario is that you are called by a player who has 77 or an over pair. You are live against any other hands like jq or AK for example so its coin flip time and hopefully you double up. Sitting around and waiting with a short stack is not an option especially once the bubble has burst. Bazzy ![]()

My pleasure, m8. If I had more time, I would regularly post some theory points and problems. But already for studying the games nowadays I only find shreds of time. Anyway: I'll try here and then for those who are interested.

| Just a comment for SternSwiss. Your above post was very informative. And thank you for giving "action" Dan Harrington his due not only is he a tight and analytical player he uses his tight reputation to his advantage. not only is he the 95 wsop main event champ he has made several great runs in the main event of late Just gos to show poker is alot more skill than some like to think. Its hard to outlast a couple thousand people on luck alone and if you do u should buy a lotto ticket ) Thanks for all the great info and have a blessed day every 1

Thanks BBO! I always quote my sources. Whatever original I have invented, sadly sdoesn't reach poker... yet. ![]() And yes Harrington is fantastic. Somehow I think that every one should study his systematic vision of the game, to understand was ultra tight agressive and taking into account ALL factors means. Then if one's fire, stlye or swing calls for other styles of games, there still will be this reference point. I did post some reviews of his books under the book section some time back, btw.

POKER IS 80% LUCK 20% TALENT if you see that big blind is sneaking up to you and you have a small amount to play with, i personally believe it is better to go "all in" on any hand you have before big blind. this is because your opponent will think OH THEY ARE GOING ALL IN COZ THEY ARE ON BIG BLIND AND HAVE NO CHOICE. soooooo, if you use reverse psychology and go all in on a hand before that, you will mess with their head, and they will think you have a good hand and hopefully they will give you a free chip up OTHERWISE you will still have a good chance to win NO MATTER WHAT CARDS U HAVE. you could get 2 pairs, etc as most of the time it IS luck. I have won mannnnnny times, and been in the same situation.
