I have won hands by taking the free ride of checking, if any one would have bid I would have folded because I was using the check/fold button.
So. I agree use the free ride you have nothing to lose!

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.

well it could get you extra chips but some people havent grasped this yet but i have also notice in tourneys people sometimes fold on the big blind this i find most unusal as they have already payed and they once again only have to check JUST REMEMBER TRY TO CHECK NOT FOLD YOU CAN GET MORE CHIPS THIS WAY

This is true in most cases but sometimes it is better to fold than to let the other players see you cards.

Check, check, check... but don't give other players a chance to hit their straights or flushes. I do that all the time... I'll check with a decent pair only to let some schmuck hit his straight on the River, I'd say bet strong, but not too strong. Let those guys with a 5% chance fold early so you don't get screwed.

2) Ive just started playing poker online, have seen quite a few people folding when the could have checked, makes no sense to me as the next card dealt could very well give them a chance of winnin something......

3) SHILLY you need to go to another thread to get your ingame chat set up, i think they have disabled it for new players as there was a lot of trash being talked in game

Yeah... You are right...

It is no risk at all.... it also may give some other chance when card flop...

If other player bet..or raise.. Happily we can fold...
