If you want to win a lot of chips at any table you have to have two things. Luck and patience. Sometimes I'll go to a table and get pocket kings on the first hand but usually it takes me at least 15-20 hands to win a big pot. The key to all of this is patience. Everyone gets long streaks of just terrible hands. You just can't get frustrated and start playing bad hands and making stupid pre-flop calls.

the tip of the day is always helpful, of of my favs so far was that there has to be a 5/10 in your hand or o the board to make a straight, i never thought about it but this simply tip has saved me a lot of chips. Yeah.. i know, it is completely obvious, i just never thought about it and would always hold out for a card to get a straight and i think that if there isn't a 5/10 in the flop or in your hand there is isn't worth holding out cause you can lose a lot of chips like i used to, but some times you get lucky though so it's worth the risk every so often i guess. Anyone think what i'm saying is accurate? or am i just crazy?

i have been playing about 3 weeks and the one thing i did learn early on was if there is a pair in the flop and i have not got the third then i fold because 9 tmes out of 10 you lose your points althought i have been caught out once or twice when the second has come on the last card
