need some help ...

ok.... I have never assumed myself to be a great player....but lately I just cant seem to get any further than the beginning of the last table on the op tourneys and mini mammoth..... then crash and burn quickly.

I dont know if i'm just going through a slump....I dont feel as if I'm playing any different than I usually do.

I think I have played most of you regulars at some stage or other...am I too easy to read on the tables? Do you think I play too tight? Any advice or critisism would be appreciated....I just don't know if I should maybe change my game....or just hang in there.

Im having the same issues. Ive even tried changing things up. Im lucky to hit a good set of hold cards. Then its even harder to catch the flop.I seem to fold the "junk" cards that seem to hit the river. I get a good hand and good flop on occasion, but that very seldom , and seldom hands dont win in the long run. Ive even jumped onto some bingo playing tables and have had very little luck their as well. I think its cos the standard of play has changed dramatically. or my poker play has got more sucky . Anyone else feeling this way?

Yes, same here this last few months. I.ve lost loads of chips, . Have tried same as you DD, on rings, they are worse. I think as Cuddy has said on her thread, the level of playing has gone down hill,


And with no chatroom makes it worse,
I cud have went in there instead of playing,

hi debs,dont change hun,been much the same for me lately got chance today and went on to win wombats,its down to the cards you get on final table fold the junk and bet heavy on the good hands and hope to hit,good luck hun

How do you work your bank roll? Not that im any kind of an Authority on this issue,but when I hit a slump like that I usally find that Im impatient at the final table,When I do succede,(which is rare)LOL.I find that I have to be willing to throw out some pretty good hands and wait for a ride on the blinds,Dont get pd when you throw away the winner,and just manage your chips a little tighter.

I'm a very tight player...The funny thing here, Is that I rarely throw away a winner....

Yes Debs have had the same problem only so far and hit a wall , even when I play tight have lost quite a bit. It may be just a phase and then it all comes back. You're a better player than me so the good times will return!!!

hi deb you can only bet the cards you are delt last table is always
harder than normal low stack waiting for big hands and high stacks bullying so good luck i think your a very good player xxx
