| How do you play AA, slow or very fast, cause it seems when you play it slow you always lose? |

| well you have to bet big to scare away people chasing straights/flushes, because if they hit, say goodby to a lot of chips. basically play it fast, but possibly slow if you hit trips. |

| it depends on what cards are turned up and what all others have in their hand but the best way to play them is fast. bet high and hope most others in hand will fold. then you can still lose but have better chances. i myself like to just bet. |

| ALL IN, if you let too many mediocre hands see the flop then a few of them will get straight and flush draws, then whenever the turn and river comes those mediocre hands will turn hands better then AA. What im trying to say is dont let too many people see the flop when you have AA. ![]()

| I was watching the World Poker Tournament early hours this morning which was held in France,It was dominated by scandinavian countries, A pair of A's came up and he went all in and im talking around $435000 it did the trick when two others had high card most of us would be happy to raise with, they folded leaving one guy with KJ, he lost ending up with K high. | I sometimes play aces fast and sometimes slow depending on my position and the amount in the pot/betting. I came 5th in a real life multi table tourney this weekend out of 70 runners and was dealt a pair of pocket aces. I played them dead slow and just called the blind which was 6000. The flop came king, 3 and some other low card. I made a bet of 8000 hoping that the other player had the king and guess what? Yup he had king and jack kicker so went all in. When I turned my aces he just said I was sick lol. I was low on chips so slow play was the order of the day. Bazzy ![]() Last edited by BAZULTRA; 03-31-2008 at 01:03 PM.. |

| if you are dealt a pair of aces should you always go "all in" pre flop or is it better to wait? Merged from another thread Last edited by Carmine555; 03-31-2008 at 06:37 PM.. |

| If you go all in on big tables you will only get the blinds But on lower tables you can go all in when you get them Or you can wait and raise little or raise little more it is your choice. I would say it depends againts who are you playing![]() ![]() Last edited by Danzi; 03-31-2008 at 05:04 PM.. |

| There are lots or hand that can beat a pair of aces, so i wouldn't recomend going all in at all, but you could bet strongly to stop players waiting for straights or flushes on the turn or river. There are lots of really good threads thats can help with stuff like this..... |

| When i sometimes cant make my mind how to play my aces i do this: Preflop, raise 3x blind, call anything if reraised. Flop, raise 1x stack or 2x stack if table is loose, only exception is if flop comes like flush or straight then gotta start thinking, maybe raise 1/3 of stack and see what happens. Turn, probably there are left 1 - 2 players and if turn wasnt too scary then just allin. And if it was scary and you see that youre probably beat, then bet like 1/4 of stack and if you get called/raised just fold. No shame in folding Better then lose everything.Usually works ![]()

| on here depends on the table but i usually raise pretty high too fold as many as possible, then see the flop still have the best hand then i go all in. just make sure you look at the flop carefully, and on here there are ppl that go all in with 7,2 |

| raise...but i wouldn't go all in...your goal should be to earn maximum money with minimum risk, all in is too risky, i'd want to see maximum 2 players seeing the flop, this should be some kind of balance between safe and profitable....if you're short stack then go all in... | Raise at least 3x the big blind if you have them, never know when the big blind will hit or two pair. The odds are just too great. |
