You had bad luck.. It happens... And sometimes it pays to bluff after the flop... Even if it didnt hit you anything good.. Just be careful and learn when to bluff and when not to.. Practice, Practice, Practice! :P

I think a perfect game would be to win every single hand...No?...It would be perfect because you could never loose...Have you noticed how sometimes a player gets win after win, even after the show on the river...Sometimes great hands come in groups...Think that's how I won my first gold the other day..I played my good hands great..and great hands better...Poor wee Matador came a close second...But I recon I killed him in our second from last hand...He never took me for having Kings...Sorry to Mat..it was a very quick heads up...But I loved it!...Best of luck finding that perfect game...Getting a gold is probably as good as it gets in here...All the best...Sox

You never play perfectly over a long session, and even if you did you could end up having a losing session... that is just how poker works.

Its true, knowing how to bluff is one thing, but knowing WHEN to bluff is the real art of it, if your gonna try that is. Unfortunately, I just haven't mastered it at all yet

i think you mean playing a tight game, rather than a perfect one. i know from experience that this strategy doesnt always work out... but does any????

i always play tight and i do fairly well. i just have a bad habit of going all in before the flop when i get the hands i want lol. playing tight works when you know when to fold if you do call the blind and dont chase hands. the big wins are nice, but if you play extremely tight then you dont have to do much to keep your chip stack up. the closer you get the the final table in a tourney, the less tight you wanna play also. there are a ton of variables. you should really try out different ways and figure how you want to play. poker strategies are very personal and its about how you feel comfortable

You expected an outcome that is impossible. There are so many variables because of the one variable you cannot predict. People! When you play online with free chips you have to change the rules. Play what you feel not what the book says and you will do better. Good luck my friend.
