Default play the cards you have

Best advice to all newbees....play the hand you have not the one you want. At least while you start, leave the bluffing until you strat to earn those points.

Hi Loofer,
i'm not sure if i agree or not....
I often have silly cards like 2s 3s or 4s...if i don't play i could have won, once the flop has been dealt.
Yet if i play high cards such as ks qs or As and play...i loose more often than not.
So i have to say for me..i go with what i think is right and how i feel bout the cards that have been dealt.
Just my thoughts

Play the cards for the flop mostly, try to play the low blinds when you have like 20 chances to get a good hand.

this is good advice. Sure way to loose your money is to ignore this point.
wait until you learn to recognise the potential of your hand before you bet on what may/may not come out.

each card has as good a chance as any coming out, always play the flop with reasonable blinds, if notins showing then you should fold......................i think!!!!

Oh i dont know, i would say, a bit of bluffing is needed you might just want to fold a couple bad hands before, and play some good ones, then if you need to bluff, there more prone to take the bluff. I my self dont bluff ever.

Man you got an obsession with the dead or what?

I used to agree, but too many bluffs kill me. And buying in on a small blind only makes things worse for me. Always seems to be a better hand out there.
