Yes, as Betty says, she's right on all and especially it changes during the game. Good cards are good cards but 3 all in's in front of me gets me to fold every time. Less players and me still in the game. Circumstances decide strategy more than cards. And YES money is a far different game than play chips. Hey, it's your hard earned.

Lots of people will play looser in a free chips game, play hands or chase or bet on hands that they wouldn't have if it was a real money game. Another important thing to consider is also position, and if it's a MTT what stage of the tourney is it.

thats commem sense. most people will be more free with someone elses money than there own. same when playing with free chips and playing with chips you payed for. I play much different at free tourys than I do at cash games.
