Showing card,s????

WEll i normally like to show but from now on i wont be.
I dont like getting abused when ive bluffed with nothing
and getting told i cant play poker. I always thought that it was part of the game.

its all tactics if u show or not some players like rubbing it in by showing winning hand even if it a bluff they get there kicks by doing this as i say dont become upset they wont u to dont abuse them just carry on show that u are are a graciuos person and player....

by showing your cards you could be bluffing . so the other players could know the style you play and making everyone of your bets mabey looking a bluff (this could be an advantage to you ) the ma was probbly advising you to keep your cards to the self so only you know the style you play

theres many reasons for showing hands.

1- you could play to loose a small pot with a bad bluff and let everyone think that you bluff then catch em with a big hand
2- do it to annoy players.yeah thats not pleasant but if it puts you of your game a little then i would do it.
3-ya had a good hand and everyone folded.

just like playing styles its up to each individual whether or not the muck their cards

I think showing is an indivdual choice yes I do it when Ive got nothing and its not to p anyone off its to say look what Ive got away with and sometimes you get called someone has the nuts while your bluffing thats poker but after you get away with it they wonder what your up to and the one you play it tight and everyone gets drawn in to the pot and you clear up!!

Personal choice here I think, but in no way disrespectful. For the most part rarely show cards. Think if u want to see them u have to pay.

i never show my cards and when asked what i had i just say dont remember .if u show thats fine but it would be nice when i fold not 2 be able 2 see the cards being dealt ,always seem to get a great hand whenever i fold ,lol

Well given I'm still learning, I probably show too much. I still think I'm playing a "friendly" game of poker with my free chippies lol. I luv when others show even if they are bluffin. I'm still trying to figure out the bullies from the tight wads giggle...luv ya'll and luv how each of you play .. just don't take my chippies too early giggle xx
