Cool Strategic split pot, lol

ok, you are playin on cash table, flop, turn, river, bla, bla, bla, flop is 2,J,K,10,Q . Pot is 3.25$.
You have A,10. You bet 3.25$, one player fold other raise on
10$, you have 30$.
Will you go all in, or just call raise?
I knew answer, but let me see you.....

depends if it is a rainbow board or if there is the possibility of a flush??

if a flush was not an option i would go all in as there is nothing to lose (no flush/ full house/straight flush/4 of a kind available) so punt all in incase he thinks you are bluffing and is testing you

i may be wrong but thats what i would do

My thinking matches unclepony's completely.

I can see no reason to just call the raise - the worst that can happen is a split pot.

I would be all in.

oooo i just been thinking this is a cash table so flat call or your pushing up the rake and you dont want pay the house more than you need to so you can change my vote to "call the raise"

I already thought of that. I don't play cash tables myself, but surely you would still end up better off allin rake or no rake?

I still say all in

no because your only going to get called buy someone with a ace so the pot will be split but the rake will be less as the pot will be $40 less

m8, nice, on second, but nice,

for others, this is cash table, and if some raise your bet,
it means that he have ace, so if you just call his raise,
you bouth will be losin cca 1$, but if you go all in,
he will be comited to call and you will be lose cca 3$.
Thats a real poker, rake is 10%.

And i saw that rake is puted on practice tables, so good
that players who played for fun have that on mind.

Joya - good question - Roo - good answer. I would not have thought of rake. Even old people can learn new things.

I had thought of the rake, but not its consequences as I didn't really know how it worked.

Thank you jOYa, I have learnt something today. Great thread.
